Post-Workout Wrap Up - Dubbing Workout w/Stephane Cornicard

Stephane Cornicard joined the VO Peeps in July for a dubbing workout to give us an insider insight into the Band Rythmo method of dubbing. Stephane Cornicard, born in France in 1964, is a multilingual actor, who trained in France, at Colby College, USA and at Goldsmith College, England. He trained with Francois David, French director and writer. Cornicard's many credits include Jean in Saving Private Ryan by Steven Spielberg, Liquid Snake in Metal Gear, Gabe Logan in the Syphon Filter games and the evil Count Raum in Primal. Stephane taught us how the Band Rythmo method of dubbing works and how to learn more and book those jobs! We learned how lucrative the dubbing business is going to be in the future!

Words of Wisdom

Dubbing is like acting in reverse. You have to take someone else's movement and match your voice to that character - Stephane Dubbing a production into a new language is more effective than making a new TV series. It's easy money for executives and therefore, is expanding opportunities for voice actors - Stephane
