CONGRATULATIONS TO LAUREN MCDOWELL:
2025 CAROL JOY MEMORIAL NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP WINNER
Lauren is an on-camera and voice actor based in Atlanta. With over a decade of acting experience, her voiceover journey started just three years ago with Atlanta Voiceover Studio. In addition to her on-camera credits, she has voiced projects for major brands like Home Chef, DoorDash, and Novo Nordisk. Outside of acting, Lauren has worked with children for many years. She is a nanny, camp counselor, teaching artist, and expert at playing pretend. Lauren is deeply involved in advocacy and volunteer work, especially in the stuttering community. She believes every voice is important and deserves to be heard. She puts this into practice through her work with two stuttering non-profits, one of which she is a founding member.

2025 INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP WINNER
Tolulope Kolade is an award-winning Nigerian voiceover artist, coach, and podcaster who is passionate about storytelling through voice. As the winner of the 2021 Nigerian Voice Acting Contest, he has carved a niche for himself in the African voiceover industry, lending his voice to commercials, animations, audiobooks, and more.
Beyond performing, Tolulope is dedicated to mentoring aspiring voice actors and helping them build sustainable careers through training and coaching. He is also the creator and host of Everything Voiceovers: The African Perspective, a leading podcast that explores the voiceover industry through an African lens.
With a mission to elevate African voiceover talent on the global stage, Tolulope continues to contribute to the industry's growth while honing his craft as a versatile and dynamic voice actor. You can find out more about Tolulope here
