In this commercial workout, Brandon emphasized that delivery should be direct, straightforward, and engage the listener in a way that feels natural and trustworthy. He reminded us that incorporating theatrical techniques can enhance your performance. Whether it's yelling before a script to get into character or intentionally frustrating yourself for a specific read, these methods can bring authenticity to your delivery. Always do your research on the brand and provide a second take that's distinct from the first. Avoid sounding too polished or announcer-like with words like “behold.” Remember, the goal is to sound like you’re having a real conversation with a friend, not selling a product. Keep experimenting and refining your craft, and don't hesitate to leverage your manager's connections to open new doors in the industry.
